Dr. (Han) Michelle Tran is a native of New Orleans who earned her Doctor of Psychology degree from APA-accredited Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia. With a professional commitment to supporting neurodivergent youth and their families, Dr. Tran specializes in comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments and neuro-affirming care.

Dr. Tran completed her APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at Ochsner Health in New Orleans, where she developed extensive experience providing pediatric consultation-liaison services across inpatient and outpatient multidisciplinary clinics, including hematology/oncology, cardiology, gastroenterology, and endocrinology. Her clinical background includes evidence-based individual therapy, parent-child dyadic therapy, and specialized group interventions, including the Chronic Ability Program for medically complex youth. She has also conducted autism evaluations in pediatric primary care settings, as well as comprehensive interdisciplinary evaluations in collaboration with pediatricians and speech-language pathologists.

Dr. Tran established a strong foundation with Georgia Autism Center during her practicum training in 2022 and subsequently continued with the organization as a psychological assistant specializing in standardized autism assessments, including the ADOS-2 and CARS-2. Returning to GAC in 2026 as a Postdoctoral Fellow, Dr. Tran is committed to guiding families through the assessment process with empathy, clarity, and collaborative, strengths-based care.

Dr. Tran is fluent in Vietnamese and is pleased to serve bicultural and Vietnamese-speaking families.
